About the Role
As the Chief People Officer, you will be based in Lisbon and lead all aspects of the company’s people strategy, including talent acquisition, development, retention, and organisational design. This role is pivotal in creating and maintaining a culture of excellence while ensuring the achievement of both people-focused outcomes and hard KPIs that align with the company’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive people strategy that supports organisational goals and scales with business growth.
- Lead initiatives in talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and leadership development.
- Partner with senior leaders to design and implement programs that promote a diverse, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
- Deliver measurable results by aligning HR initiatives with key business objectives, ensuring accountability for both people metrics and organisational KPIs.
- Use data-driven insights to enhance decision-making and measure the effectiveness of people-related initiatives.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team, providing expertise on organisational design, succession planning, and workforce optimisation.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience as a Chief People Officer or similar senior HR leadership role, ideally in high-growth or fast-paced industries.
- Preference for candidates with previous experience in Big 5 consulting firms or large multinational organisations.
- A track record of success not only in building and scaling people functions but also in delivering results tied to key business performance indicators (e.g., productivity, profitability, and operational efficiency).
- Expertise in organisational design, leadership development, and change management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and partner with stakeholders at all levels.
- A forward-thinking approach, staying updated on industry trends and innovative HR practices.
- Fluent in both English and Portuguese.
