System Administrator

About the Opportunity
Our client is an international technology-driven organisation that supports mission-critical business operations across multiple markets. As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a System Administrator to strengthen their IT Operations team and help maintain a secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Intune.
- Monitor infrastructure performance and proactively resolve issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and identity management.
- Support networking infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and security updates.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery procedures, and business continuity.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and infrastructure-related incidents.
- Collaborate with internal teams on infrastructure improvements and IT projects.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Good understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), Group Policy, and identity management.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Networking knowledge covering DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Linux administration experience.
- Cloud experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- PowerShell or Bash scripting.
- Microsoft certifications (Azure, M365, Windows Server).
- Experience with endpoint management and security solutions.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and automation.
