Role Overview
As a SCADA Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining SCADA systems that ensure seamless industrial automation operations. Your expertise will enable the efficient integration of hardware and software systems, enhancing control, monitoring, and optimization of processes in a high-tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
System Design and Integration
- Develop and configure SCADA systems to meet specific operational and process requirements.
- Design and implement interfaces for seamless integration with PLCs, sensors, and other control systems.
Testing and Troubleshooting
- Conduct rigorous testing of SCADA systems to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, minimizing downtime and enhancing system efficiency.
Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including PLC engineers and IT professionals, to develop integrated automation solutions.
- Provide technical support and training to operational teams for effective system usage.
Optimization and Maintenance
- Continuously optimize SCADA systems to improve monitoring, data acquisition, and control processes.
- Ensure systems adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience as a SCADA Engineer or similar role in industrial automation.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA software platforms (e.g., Wonderware, Ignition, WinCC).
- Familiarity with integration of SCADA systems with PLCs and industrial IT environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages for SCADA system customization.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- A team-oriented mindset with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
