DevOps Engineer (Remote – Portugal Based)

About the Role

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer for an innovative Fintech company expanding its engineering team in Portugal. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking, international development team building scalable, cloud-native products that enable their users to better serve their clients.

As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to streamline and secure our software delivery pipelines, automate infrastructure, and ensure high availability and performance across platforms.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar)
  • Build and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker
  • Monitor performance and reliability of cloud-native environments (preferably Azure)
  • Drive observability using logging, alerting, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth software releases
  • Continuously evaluate and improve deployment strategies, reliability, and security

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering
  • Solid experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Infrastructure-as-Code expertise (Terraform or Pulumi)
  • Proficient in cloud platforms, preferably Azure (GCP or AWS also considered)
  • Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Based in Portugal
