The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Technical Backend Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team working on highly scalable and reliable software systems. You will be responsible for architecting and building backend services, improving technical infrastructure, and mentoring other developers — all while keeping performance, security, and scalability in mind.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building core systems that power a fast-scaling digital product used by thousands of businesses.

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs
• Write scalable, high-performance code with a focus on clean architecture
• Take ownership of complex engineering problems and deliver elegant solutions
• Work closely with frontend, QA, DevOps, and product teams
• Contribute to technical architecture discussions and long-term strategy
• Help improve development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and coaching

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in backend development (e.g. Node.js, TypeScript, Go, or similar)
• Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong understanding of system design, APIs, and microservices architecture
• Experience working in agile teams using Scrum or Kanban
• Passion for writing clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
