About the Company
Our client is an international data consultancy working with some of the world’s most forward-thinking organizations to help them become truly data-driven. Headquartered in North America with teams across LATAM, EMEA, and APAC, they are now expanding into the UK market.
Their mission is to build high-performing, remote-first teams that help clients unlock the full potential of cloud-native data platforms. If you’re passionate about solving complex challenges with modern data tools — and doing so alongside a diverse, global team — this is the place for you.
The Role
We’re looking for a Data Architect to join a growing team of data experts supporting clients across industries with cloud-based data transformation and strategy.
As a Data Architect, you will work closely with clients to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions using modern tools and platforms. You’ll be instrumental in defining data architectures that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence — from design through deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design cloud-native data architectures that meet business and technical requirements
- Lead data engineering and architecture strategy across customer engagements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, analytics) to understand needs and propose solutions
- Implement modern data stack tools and manage data pipelines, warehousing, and governance
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations for clients
- Provide thought leadership on data best practices, tooling, and architectural patterns
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering
- Expertise in modern cloud platforms such as Snowflake, Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure
- Strong SQL skills and experience with Python or dbt
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and cloud warehousing
- Experience working with business stakeholders and translating requirements into architecture
- Familiarity with tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable working in distributed, remote-first teams
- Based in the UK (or eligible to work and operate remotely from the UK)
What’s on Offer
- Remote-first setup with UK-based contracts
- Flexible working hours and a strong remote culture
- Access to cutting-edge tools and a global network of data professionals
- Opportunity to grow into a thought leadership or client strategy role
- Competitive compensation aligned with seniority and UK market rates
