The Role
As a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll join a forward-thinking engineering team and bring reliability, observability, and cloud best practices to life. You’ll work side-by-side with software developers to ensure the platform runs smoothly, scales efficiently, and delivers a consistently exceptional user experience.
This is a high-impact role where your decisions shape the technical foundation of a growing FinTech product.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure across AWS and Vercel platforms
- Automate infrastructure with Terraform and maintain IaC best practices
- Implement observability across the stack with tools like New Relic, CloudWatch, and lograge
- Ensure cloud security following OWASP and AWS Well-Architected principles
- Optimize cloud costs and performance
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred)
- Deploy Docker containers and support smooth schema migrations
- Create robust alerting systems and incident response processes
- Collaborate closely with engineers to improve system reliability
- Drive post-mortem analyses and follow-up actions
What We’re Looking For;
Technical Skills
- Strong experience with AWS
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure management
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Docker, scripting in Python/Ruby/JavaScript)
- Familiarity with observability tools (New Relic, AppSignal, CloudWatch)
- Structured logging and schema migrations knowledge is preferred
