Regulatory Compliance Manager – EMEA

A fast-growing global fintech player is looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Manager to join their international Legal, Risk & Compliance team. This is a unique opportunity to shape and scale regulatory compliance operations across the EMEA region in a high-growth, innovative environment.

The Role

You’ll be part of the second line of defense, ensuring regulatory obligations are met in the Netherlands and broader EMEA region. From managing licensing processes and external audits to implementing scalable compliance frameworks, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in both structure and scale-up agility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main liaison with local regulators, managing reporting, audit support, and notifications of material changes.
  • Oversee license maintenance and ensure alignment with local and European regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute compliance assurance and monitoring programs.
  • Partner with internal teams on cross-functional initiatives, providing guidance and oversight.
  • Conduct internal reviews and audits to assess regulatory adherence.
  • Drive awareness around new regulations and update internal documentation accordingly.
  • Deliver compliance training and policy rollout across business functions

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, ideally in financial services, fintech, or consulting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Dutch financial regulations and experience dealing with regulatory bodies.
  • Practical experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 1/2, and local payment regulations.
  • Experience working across multiple European jurisdictions is highly valued.
  • Strong project management skills with an ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a structured and analytical mindset.
  • Fluency in English required; Dutch or other EMEA languages are a plus.
