Accountant

We are looking for Accountants to join a growing international organisation in Lisbon.

This is a hands-on accounting position for someone who enjoys working with financial data, maintaining accurate records and ensuring that daily accounting activities are completed correctly and on time.

The Role

You will be responsible for executing day-to-day accounting activities and maintaining accurate financial information directly within the organisation’s operational system.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Recording and processing daily accounting transactions
• Maintaining accurate and complete financial data
• Supporting account reconciliations and transactional controls
• Reviewing financial information and identifying discrepancies
• Ensuring that supporting documentation is correctly registered
• Supporting closing and reporting activities
• Working with internal teams to resolve accounting questions
• Contributing to accurate, efficient and well-organised financial processes

Your Background

We are particularly interested in professionals with:

• Education or professional experience in Accounting, Finance or a related area
• A solid understanding of basic accounting principles
• Previous experience in a transactional accounting position
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confidence working with accounting software or business systems
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• A responsible, proactive and hands-on attitude
• The ability to work effectively within a team
